New Slitting Cutters with Coolant Channels
Carrying TANG-GRIP Inserts
Highlights
ISCAR is expanding the TANGSLIT slitting cutters by adding TGSF-JHP cutters with coolant channels directed to each and every cutting edge and SW/S-JHP driving shanks that can convey the coolant to the cutters
TGSF-JHP Cutter Features
- 2.48-4.92” (63-125 mm) Cutter diameter
- .118 and .157” (3.0 and 4.0 mm) Slitting widths
Advantages
- Coolant channels directed to each and every cutting edge
- Efficient cooling that prevents built-up edge, thus substantially prolonging tool life Higher productivity as cutting speed can be raised up to 50%
- An ideal solution for machining high temperature alloys and stainless steel
- Very efficient chip disposal and improved surface finish
- Advantageous for both low (10 bar) and high (340 bar) coolant pressure
SW/S-JHP Shank Features
- 1.000 and 1.250” shank diameters
- Shell holder with 1.250” adaptation
Tool: TGSF 63-4-10K JHP
Insert: TAG N4J IC830
